Gemma and Daisy, regular visitors to Hill Farm Boarding Kennels

Welcome to Hill Farm Boarding Kennels in Somerset, where it is our aim to make your dog's stay as relaxed and happy as possible.  As a small boarding kennels we believe  that we have the time to get to know your dog and give him the sort of attention that he appreciates - if he is shy we let him set his own pace and if he is boisterous we place him in a kennel next to a like-minded dog so they can play in their adjacent runs.

We feed to the same sort of routines and food as at home and dogs are exercised regularly according to their needs.  Fresh water is always available and they sleep in moulded plastic beds with vetbeds.  Giving medication is no problem.

Toys are encouraged, but we prefer not to use owner's bedding if it is difficult to wash and dry as bedding is changed regularly.

All dogs must be vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus.  We do not ask for routine vaccination against Kennel Cough, though if there is an outbreak in this part of Somerset we request that you consider protecting your dog. 

All dogs in the boarding kennels can see some other dogs and many of the kennels overlook the carpark.  Whilst they can see each other they are never allowed to mix and only dogs from the same home are ever exercised together.

We welcome visits from prospective customers, but to ensure that dogs currently boarding are not disturbed unnecessarily we request that visits to view the kennels are made on Saturday mornings only.
